Andrea Boitani

Professor of Political Economics at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, he was a member of the technical commission on public expenditure at the Treasury, economic advisor to the Ministry of Transport, and a member of the commissions responsible for drafting the General Transport Plan (2001) and the National Logistics Plan (2005). His research centres on macroeconomics and the economics of regulation and transport. He has published articles in scientific reviews such as the Journal of Post Keynesian Economics, European transport, and ItalianiEuropei. He is editor of www.lavoce.info and author of Una nuova economia keynesiana (with M. Damiani), Il Mulino (2003); Macroeconomia, Il Mulino (2008).
